How do I manage my cookie preferences in Vitros?
You have full control over which cookies and tracking technologies Vitros uses. Here's how to manage them:
On the web
First visit
When you first visit vitros.app, you'll see a cookie banner. Choose:
Accept All - Enables all cookies including analytics and marketing
Reject All - Only essential cookies (app won't work without these)
Customize - Choose exactly which categories you want
After first visit
To change your preferences later:
Visit vitros.app/cookies
Scroll to "Manage Your Cookie Preferences"
Click "Update Preferences"
Toggle categories on/off and save
Via account settings
We're building a Cookie Preferences section in your account settings where you can manage everything in one place.
On mobile
During onboarding
You'll see a consent screen when you first sign up. This covers both cookies and data collection.

Changes take effect immediately.
Go to Profile (bottom nav)

Browser-level controls
You can also manage cookies at the browser level:
Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we automatically:
Opt you out of all non-essential cookies
Skip the cookie banner (silent opt-out)
Respect your preference unless you manually change it
Enable GPC in browsers like Brave, Firefox (with extension), or DuckDuckGo.
Note on free vs. paid plans
Not all plans are the same:
Free users see ads (requires marketing cookies if consented)
Plus and Pro users never see ads
All users can disable analytics and marketing cookies regardless of plan
Data deletion
Disabling cookies prevents future tracking but doesn't delete historical data. To delete existing tracking data, email privacy@vitros.app with your request.
