Talk about the version of yourself you're growing into.
— Vitros, Daily Prompt
Context
This prompt asks you to imagine your future self—not as a fantasy, but as a direction.
We’re always becoming. Every choice you make, every habit you keep, every thought you entertain—it all adds up to the person you’re growing into. The question is: are you doing it intentionally?
The version of yourself you're becoming isn't fixed. It's not about perfection or chasing some ideal. It’s about alignment—living in a way that reflects who you truly want to be. That might mean becoming more patient, more honest, more courageous. It might mean setting boundaries, pursuing truth, or caring less about what others think.
But here’s the hard part: growth often means letting go. You might have to release old stories you’ve told yourself, or patterns that kept you small. That can feel like loss. But it’s also how space is made for the next version of you to emerge.
So take a moment. What qualities do you admire in others—and want to see more of in yourself? What would the wiser, calmer, stronger version of you do today? And are your current actions pulling you toward that version—or away from it?
The future you is already forming. The real question is: are you choosing them on purpose?
